end of winter

oh dear, we have spend the last couple of weeks passing on flu from one family member to another. the weekends have been grey, wet and miserable - drinking lots of tea (and hot chocolate). we are all now fit and well and signs of spring are definitely appearing. my favourite time of year.

while we spent time tucked under the covers, a new friend arrived to live with us. Jöran - a beautifully crocheted jackdaw created by the very talented cecilia whose work i have loved since i 'met' her on flickr quite a while ago. thank you so much cecilia. i hope i dont trouble him too much with my worries.. you can purchase your own swedish worry bird right here..

i hope you are all well and feeling spring in the air..

have a lovely weekend - i have a backlog of work to catch up on xx

(And, I like seeing a little card of mine on your shelf; it makes me smile.)

I love the Swedish worry bird and doesn't it sit so well by Gracia's image. What a handsome shelf of goodies you have there. xo lj PS Glad to hear you and your family have recovered from the flu and that spring has arrived.

Oh, I realise time flies, it's been a while since I checked in on you! Jöran looks very comfy - and who wouldn't in the company of your precious things there on the shelf!
