my girls

my girls are doing so well this year. both are so very diferent and have both managed to find their place in nursery and class.

in the last couple of months ella has been drawing more and more. this week she drew the whole family. i love these works of art :)

ella - a self portrait

shelly

mummy

daddy

she usually works intensely to cover sheets of paper in colourful areas. it facinates me to watch her.

shelly had a musical instrument making workshop in school using recycled things from around the home and this is what we came up with. we had such fun with it.

planting trees for tu bishvat.

i, too, love children's drawings....

going backwards... that new piece that you felt had trouble? when i look at it before it was "finished" - don't you like the part where the pencil drawing and the painting part meet?? also i think you need more white space - to make them feel more ambiguous... i'm so happy to see the new work, though...

Such lovely drawings, so advanced for her age! I read you blog often and enjoy every post. XO Lety

Love your girls drawings. Those early ones are precious, I kept loads of them. The instrument is amazing too - imagine the treasures just lying about around us.

(A small package is on it's way to you, with 2 items in it :) I hope your address is the same as 2 yrs ago... Enjoy!)

Happy to see the whole family, drawn. These works made me smile. And... that musical instrument, too. It reminds me of something from an ancient faraway land...
